Editorial policy

How Hydroforming Insights develops technical content

Our editorial standard is to answer a narrow engineering question with traceable evidence, identify the limits of that evidence, and show which project-specific facts still require review.

Ownership and commercial disclosure

Hydroforming Insights is operated by ShuiYiYuan. The company may fund, author, edit, or technically review content published here, and that relationship is disclosed to readers.

A relevant article may link to HydroformingFactory.com when a reader’s next step is a project enquiry. Commercial links are kept separate from citations and do not determine the technical conclusion.

Source hierarchy

Consequential engineering claims are supported with sources appropriate to the question. Preference is given to peer-reviewed research, SAE technical papers, recognized standards bodies, official specifications, and clearly scoped engineering reports.

Supplier marketing, search-result snippets, anonymous summaries, patents, and generated illustrations are not used by themselves as proof of universal process behavior or market adoption.

Technical review

A public article identifies its author or responsible organization, its technical reviewer, and its publication and update dates. A draft is not treated as published guidance until the stated review has occurred.

Review checks the engineering conclusion, its applicable conditions, the cited evidence, and the distinction between forming and adjacent operations.

Evidence, inference, and project scope

Articles distinguish established evidence from an engineering inference. When a conclusion depends on actual geometry, material condition, tooling, equipment, or validation criteria, it is described as project-specific rather than universal.

Statements about customers, certifications, equipment, pressure, material ranges, or production data rely on publicly verifiable records.

Corrections and updates

A factual correction is made when the published statement is unsupported, materially incomplete, or inconsistent with the cited source. A clarification may be added when wording can be interpreted more broadly than the evidence allows.

Material revisions should update the visible last-reviewed or last-updated date. A change to a link, typography, or formatting alone does not imply that the engineering content has been re-reviewed.

Confidential and customer information

Private drawings, NDA-protected photographs, customer names, and project details are published only with authorization. Generic engineering illustrations are identified as such.
